About This Wine
From Castilla, Spain, this red blend showcases the region’s ancient winemaking traditions through a young project rooted in history.
The blend is led by Cencibel (the local Tempranillo), Moravia, and Bobal, alongside small amounts of Airen and Macabeo. Grapes come from three vineyards in Villarrobledo and El Provencio with vines aged 30 to 75 years, growing in calcareous clay soils.
Ecological farming.
Aged first for three months in centuries-old local clay amphorae (tinajas), then two months in used French barrels, the wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
This is an homage to the family’s deep roots in both winemaking and amphora craftsmanship, from the home of some of the world’s finest amphora producers.
