For years, Chidaine has been a leader in natural viticulture, practicing organic and biodynamic farming. Today, they practice regenerative agriculture, utilizing no-till farming with permanent cover crops of both indigenous and sown plants alongside the vines. This approach mimics nature, creating a complex ecosystem that helps the vines fully express their terroir. By building healthy soil, François also improves the vineyard’s ability to capture and store CO2, supporting environmental sustainability.
