From the Esteban family’s high-altitude Valdehermoso terroir in Roa (825m), this wine comes off sandy–chalky soils that yield intensity with freshness. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, malolactic in concrete, and 8 months aging in a mix of French and American oak create a round, full-bodied Tinta del País with smooth tannins. Expect ripe wild fruits layered with spice, subtle toast, and a lingering, mouthwatering finish.
